Remembering
One of our friends from Vancouver's Downtown Eastside died last week. We will miss her and right now there are not words to put down to share what her friends feel. There is an empty space - it will take a long time before we are not watching or waiting to meet her in her neighbourhood, wondering how she is doing.

It can be a wretched thing to scan the faces on the street looking for one who just isn't there. So glad to know you were able to love on them while you had the opportunity.

Maureen, you have seen the faces of our friends in Bangkok and remember their faces.
I am glad you have come to know some of our friends from these communities.
